Complaints about a vendor

Do you want to complain about a vendor? Are you having problems with a trader located in another EU country, Norway, Iceland if the United Kingdom?  Have you made a complaint to a vendor but the vendor is not responding or does not assume liability?

The European Consumer Centre Network (ECC-Net) can help you come to an arrangement with the vendor. You can contact us using this form.

  • If payment has been made by credit card, you might be able to receive a refund from the credit card company.

If your complaint is about a Finnish enterprise, contact Consumer Advisory Services at the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA)

  • If you are unable to reach agreement with an enterprise yourself, we will be glad to help.

To assess your case and for purposes of mediation, in most cases we will need the following:

    • the order confirmation
    • the receipt
    • any correspondence with the vendor
    • your bank details and IBAN number and BIC code (they can be found on a bank statement).

If you are acting on behalf of a relative or someone close to you, we will also need a power of attorney.

  • You may contact us either by using the complaint form or over the telephone.
