In honor of 50 years of consumer rights in the European Union, the European Commission is streaming an online celebration event that is open to everyone and targeted especially at young consumers on November 30, 2022 at 20:30-21:30 Finnish time (19:30 CET), which can be watched on YouTube and Facebook. You can send questions to the speakers in advance by registering for the event.
The following topics will be discussed at the event, among others:
- Consumer rights, the circular economy & fashion
- Consumer rights in the digital world
- Past achievements & future challenges in EU consumer rights
Speakers include, among others, the Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, and Kiki Boreel, Dutch Climate Ambassador for the Future, greenwashing expert and fashion model.
