Price of voting in the Eurovision Song Contest varies in different countries

The finals of the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest take place on Saturday 12 May. The Iceland office of the European Consumer Centres Network has investigated the price of tele voting in several European  countries.
 
Voting is cheapest in Denmark, where no extra charge is levied on calls and SMSs cost 13 cent each. The next-best deal is on offer to Germans, who will pay 14 cent for a call and 20 cent for an SMS.
 
The price of voting is the highest in Iceland, where both calls and SMSs cost €1.15. In Finland, voting costs 50 cent / call + local network fees and SMSs cost 50 cent each.
