ECC Finland has received reports that the Estonian-based DVDmedia.ee that sells i.a CDs and DVDs, has not delivered products that have been paid by consumers in advance. The website www.dvdmedia.ee is maintained by Paloma K Oü, which has been registered in Estonia. The firm has not replied to the contacts of the Estonian Consumer authorities, but the website is still operational. The matter is being investigated by the Estonian Police. Consumers, who live in Finland and have ordered products from DVDmedia and paid for them in advance by bank transfer may submit a complaint to ECC Finland, which will forward the complaints to ECC Estonia. Consumers living in other EU-countries may contact ECCs in their country of residence.
